You want to invite additional people to your Smart Construction jobsite / Project
Answer
See below guidelines.
Explanation
- Go to your Smart Construction Portal account: Smart Construction
- Select "site list" on the top side of the screen
- Select the jobsite to which you want to invite additional people
- Select "Add member"
- Define if you want to invite someone from within your company (A) or outside your company (B)
A. Add a member belonging to your company
B. Invite an external user from outside your company
A. Add a member belonging to your company
If this person belongs to your company he/she will show up in the list below where you can select him/her. If this is not the case please refer to this article to first invite them to your organisation: How to invite additional people to your organization
- Select the member from the list
- Select "Add Member"
- Select the "User Level" and "Role" of the person
- Select "Add Member"
- The additional Member will appear in the site member list
B. Invite an external user from outside your company
You can invite people of other organisations to your project but pay attention!
a. If they do not have an organization yet, they should request one with Smart Construction Support (only EU region). Submit a request – Smart Construction Support
b. If they do not have the same licenses as your organization they will not get access to your projects in the applications. They will have access to the data share in file manager.
For Example: If they do not have a Smart Construction Fleet license, they will have access to the Smart Construction Fleet part of your project.
Please contact support or your Smart Construction representative for further explanations.
- Enter the account of the person you want to invite
- Select the "User Level" and "Role" of the person
- Select "Add Member"
- Select "Invite"
- A Mail will be sent to the person you invited. They will need to accept the invitation, as long as the have not accepted the invitation there mail will stay visible in the "Member Pending Acceptance" Tab (A)

NOTE!! --> If they receive a mail in Japanese, this means their account has not yet been set up. Please direct them to support for assistance.
- As soon as they accept the invitation they will be visible in the "Members" tab.
